 Kathleen J. Johanson, President
Kathleen joined EDVP in May 2004. Kathleen is a Senior Vice President at US Bank. She has over 20 years experience in the financial services industry, and is currently an investment banker. She has been involved with EDVP for several years as a financial supporter and currently serves on the Finance Committee and Executive Committee. Ending domestic violence and providing affordable housing are her family’s personal and professional missions.
 Dave Osmer, 1st Vice President
Dave is the Vice President for Executive Search Services at Hagel & Company. He has served as Executive Director of the Greater Everett Community Foundation and Big Brothers Big Sisters of King and Pierce Counties. For the eleven years immediately prior to his nonprofit leadership experiences, he held several senior management positions with the Community Relations Department of The Boeing Company. He is a member of the Executive Alliance and the Northwest Development Officers Association. Dave is also currently a member of the Visiting Committee for the Executive Masters in Not-For-Profit Leadership Program at Seattle University. Dave serves on the Executive Committee, Board Development Committee, and Breakfast Committee.
 William Hayden, 2nd Vice President
Bill is an attorney with Microsoft Corporation. He brings over 20 years of organizational leadership and management experience as a U.S. Navy officer, and with General Electric Company. He is also a former police officer who has dealt with domestic violence issues first hand. Bill has been involved in many volunteer activities over the years including: the Salvation Army Battered Women’s Shelter, mentoring U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps, teaching Junior Achievement, helping out at orphanages in South East Asia and fund raising for United Way. In 2000, he was honored by the Navy Reserve for his volunteer work providing legal aid to clients at the New England Shelter for Homeless Veterans. Bill is Chair of this year’s Safe Passage Breakfast and also serves on the Executive Committee and Board Development Committee.
 Richard McPherson, Treasurer
Rick and his wife Janell moved to the Seattle area from Denver. Rick is an Adjunct Professor of Management at Seattle University and University of Washington. His wife Janell has been an active volunteer with EDVP. Rick served on the Denver Children’s Home Board of Directors and various other non-profit boards over the years. Rick is Chair of the Finance Committee and also serves on the Executive Committee.
 Kellie Kuhlman Anderson, Secretary
Kellie is currently Manager of Energy Resources Compliance at Puget Sound Energy and has worked in the utility industry for over 16 years. She brings a variety of customer service and organizational skills to her role as an EDVP board member. In addition she has been active in her community since graduating from the University of Washington in 1990. Over the years she has volunteered with Children’s Hospital, Catholic Community Services Youth Tutoring Program, Foss Home & Village, and now Eastside Domestic Violence Program. Kellie has been actively involved for many years with the Bowl-a-Thon and also serves on the Board Development Committee, the Executive Committee, and Breakfast Committee.
 Polly Miller, At Large
Polly is the Chief Marketing Officer for Aegis Living and has over thirty years of experience in sales, marketing, training and community relations. She is a nationally recognized trainer and speaker. She has been on the board of the National Alzheimer’s Association of Puget Sound and the National Association for Senior Living Industries. Polly served as Board President from 2006 through 2007. She remains active on the Executive Committee.
 Susanne Baessler
Susanne is President of Baessler Consulting, Inc. a small firm specializing in helping teams turn their differences into assets. She has over 15 years of experience in working with teams from all over the world and at all levels. She brings in rich experience in marketing, strategic planning, team work and development and leadership coaching. Since 2001, Susanne has been working as a volunteer with the Crisis Management Team for victims of domestic violence with the Seattle Police. Susanne serves on the Board Development and Strategic Planning Committees along with the Breakfast Committee.
 Joanne Baker
Joanne is an IT professional with Vulcan. She has volunteered for several social service agencies and projects including the Ronald McDonald House and Special Olympics, home-hospitalized tutoring, Big Buddies for At-Risk Kids and the University of Washington Committee Organizing Rape Education. She has also participated in Seattle Works' EXCEED program for board development, the King County Municipal League Candidate Evaluation Committee, and the Mountaineers Environmental Advocacy program. Joanne holds a business degree from the University of Washington in Accounting and Information Systems. Joanne is Chair of the Board Development Committee and also serves on the Bowl-a-Thon and Auction Committees.
 Rachael Black
Rachael was with Boeing for over 30 years. She is also the past Director of the Community Day School Association, a non-profit. Rachael has her Masters in Executive Non Profit Management from Seattle University. She has a long history of accomplishments related to corporate fundraising and major donors. Rachael serves on the Board Development and Auction Committees.
 Noramay Cadena
Noramay joined EDVP in 2006 after relocating from Southern California. She is a Systems Engineer with The Boeing Company, supporting 777 Build Integration. She currently sits on the Bowl-a-Thon & Auction committees. Noramay brings enthusiasm to the Board and a sincere interest in enabling the independence of women - having been a teenage parent and single mother herself. One of her major goals with EDVP is to network with the Latino community in the areas of services, awareness, and support. Noramay is a graduate of MIT and speaks 3 languages. She resides in Sammamish with her daughter Chassitty. Noramay serves on the Resource Development and Bowl-a-Thon Committees.
 Ray DiCasparro
Ray is the Director of Entertainment Strategy at Microsoft. He has been at Microsoft for approximately 14 years in various U.S. and international leadership roles. In a non-profit role, he is/was on the following Boards: Life Center Northwest, ParentNet, and a founding member of both the National Kidney Foundation in Washington and the Living Legacy Foundation in the Pacific Northwest. Ray serves on the Resource Development, Breakfast, and Strategic Planning Committees.
 Wesley Moorhead
Wes is a General Manager in Microsoft’s Customer Service and Support organization and joined EDVP in May 2007. Wes is also a Fire Commissioner with Eastside Fire and Rescue and has extensive crisis intervention experience having served as a Chaplain with that agency prior to being elected as Commissioner. He is currently a member of the Board Development Committee. Wes is the Chair of the Board Development Committee and also serves on the Bowl-a-Thon and Strategic Planning Committees.
 Barbara Potter-Jaech
Barbara joined Laird Norton Tyee in 1988 and is Executive Vice President and Managing Director of Fiduciary Services. With over 28 years of experience in the trust and wealth management field, she oversees the firm’s client service teams and manages its largest trust relationships. Prior to joining the firm, Barbara was Assistant Vice President and Trust Officer at U.S. Bank of Washington. Barbara earned a degree in finance from Seattle City University and is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School. She is also a member of Estate Planning Council of Seattle and Institute of Certified Financial Planners. Barbara currently serves on the board of Medic One Foundation and is a member of the executive committee of the Estate Planning Council of Seattle. Barbara serves on the Breakfast and Finance Committees.
 Greg Smith
Greg is a broker with the Bellevue office of Grubb & Ellis, a commercial real estate firm. Formerly a practicing attorney, and currently an Emeritus attorney with the Washington State Bar Association, Greg has been involved with a number of service and non-profit organizations over the past 25 years. In addition to serving on the Safe Passage Breakfast Committee this past summer, Greg also serves as a volunteer attorney advising non-profit groups under the umbrella organization of WAACO (Washington Attorneys Assisting Community Organizations). Previously, Greg had served as a board member and chapter coordinator of the Eastside chapter of CHADD (Children and Adults with/Attention Deficit and Hyper/Activity Disorders), and board member of the Triufo YMCA in Westlake Village, California. Greg serves on the Breakfast Committee.
 Jill Steinhaus
Jill is a business manager within Microsoft Corporation’s Connected System’s Division. Prior to joining Microsoft in September 2006, Jill spent ten years serving the community through LifeCenter Northwest, the nonprofit responsible for coordinating the recovery of organs for transplant in Washington, Alaska, Montana and Northern Idaho. While with LifeCenter Jill established the Living Legacy Foundation which continues to advocate for and fund donation awareness. Jill brings experience in media and public relations, as well as business and marketing to EDVP. She serves on the Auction Committee. Jill also volunteers time to Little Bit Therapeutic Riding Centers in Woodinville.

Welch
Kimberly is an Executive with Fair Isaac. Kimberly serves on the Auction, Resource Development, and Strategic Planning Committees.
